The oldest wine growing region of Australia has a new face. The Hunter now has new breed of winemakers establishing their own unique styles of distinct regional wines. Working with old vineyards using contemporary methods and producing wines reflective of their own personalities the New Generation are taking the world of wine by surprise and are at the cutting edge of the Hunter Valley’s future.

The New Generation Hunter Valley involves the winemaking talents of David Hook (David Hook Wines), Andrew Thomas (Thomas Wines), Rhys Eather (Meerea Park), Nick Paterson (Mistletoe Wines), Mike De Iuliis (De Iuliis Wines) and Andrew Margan (Margan Wines). All six of them are dedicated winemakers who have cut their teeth making wine all over the world before settling down in the Hunter Valley to create their own mark.

Aje Pop-up Shop in Brisbane. This week only!!

28 Mar

Take advantage of the amazing Aussie designer clothes while you can – all sale items, all stunning and more sale stock arrives every day it’s open. But hurry, the doors of the Aje Pop-up Shop close this weekend.

I, along with a good number of eager Brisbane women, was lucky enough to pop on in on the weekend to have a look, and of course walked out with a small collection of Aje myself. I assure you it’s hard to resist! Especially when the original prices range from $200 to $700 plus, and I walked away only spending $300 and had 4 beautiful items, two dresses and two tops folded delicately in my large Aje bag.

The best thing about this pop up shop is that there is no Aje store in Brisbane, so it’s great to be able to get in and actually try the clothes on, on home turf instead of just seeing them online or on the special occasion you get to venture out of state. Make sure you check it out before it disappears!

Where: 16 James Street Fortitude Valley

Open all this week from 10am – 5pm

This Thursday, Aje is open for late night shopping on James St until around 10pm. To add something a little bit more special, the designers Eddi and Aje will be there to talk to!

Check out their gorgeous threads online at http://www.a-j-e.com.au
